Out front of Knott's Berry Farm before my sales appointment. It was early so not too many people were in line yet. I love my appts. at Knott's. After I checked inventory on my lines I bought a cute bracelet for my daughter-in-law, a top for me and then stopped and treated myself to a pretzel. And I have another appointment in a couple of weeks to show new product! Couldn't ask for a better day!

Over 30 years ago my parents Bonnie and Al Ackerman, (both LAPD-retired) moved our antique store, A&P Collectables onto North Glassell Street in the Antique Capital of Southern California, Old Towne Orange. About the same time I was completing my ‘degree’ in retailing at what I fondly refer to as the University of Bullock’s Department Store at Santa Ana. My experience in the China Department fostered an even greater love of fine tablewares and objects d’ art, and later management opportunities honed my customer service skills. Our specialty is antique and collectible china wares, glass and crystal, silver, fine and costume jewelry as well as a collection of tea accoutrements. I'm an acknowledged fool-for-glass and have enjoyed many trips back to the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY. I'm a member of the Pickard China Collectors Club, Elegant Glass Club, and Carder Steuben Glass Collectors Club Though Dad is gone, Mom and I continue to enjoy coming to work Tuesday through Saturday! Each item presented is as carefully researched as possible. Every day is different and we never know who or what is going to come through our door! Maybe even you! If you find yourself in Southern California, please visit us at 146 N. Glassell Street, Orange, CA 92866. We are open Tuesday - Saturday from 11-5.. Call ahead at (714) 997-1370 if it is our day off and we may be available to open for you.. And if we don’t have what you want we’ll be happy to refer you to one of the many antiques stores and malls within walking distance to our shop. As you know, we have started a page on Ruby Lane. Here is the URL http://www.rubylane.com/shop/aandpcollectables Thank you for thinking of us! :) Lisa

Paris in a Cup ordered these darling cups from Maryland China and had them customized. I think they came out lovely. Now her customers can take a little bit of Paris home with them.
