Introducing Vintage Gardens - a great new line!

I am so excited to be representing Vintage Gardens again.  It's like going home.  I met owners, Mike and Christy, at Country Roads years ago and was privileged to represent their line for quite a long time.  I was so happy when they called and asked me to represent them again! Not only do they have wonderful products but Mike and Christy are genuinely two of the nicest people I know.

Here are a few of their framed prints.

They also make swings, trellis benches for all sizes, step stools, store fixtures and so much more!

New Line - My Favorite Things

So excited to have a new line to represent!  My Favorite Things by Tina Basich is a beautiful line of glittered and jeweled greeting cards, enclosure cards, hang tags, tiaras and more.
Tina created "Celebrate the Day" a line of glitter Tiaras and party accents to remind us to live each day to the fullest. Wearing the Tiaras puts a smile on your face, my wish is to make your memories magical If you ever visit Nevada City, be sure to stop by My Favorite Things the little yellow shop at the top of the hill. Inside you will find Tina with a paint brush in hand glittering her latest creation.

A French General magical day doing WOAD

Had a wonderful day WOAD dyeing this Saturday at one of my favorite places, French General.  We started out the day at French General where we were treated to a royal welcome and did some shopping.  I then carpooled with my friend Jenelle and new friend Janette!  Our destination was a private area of Elysian Park where large vats of woad dye was waiting for us.  After a short lecture we pulled out all our white linens, cottons and wool and started dyeing.  The process was amazing.  Watching our fabric go from a yellow to a beautiful blue once the air hit our pieces was fascinating.  The different shades of blue hanging from the clotheslines was a sight to see.  It was a magical day.

This is the rare and beautiful blue color derived from the Woad plant.

Denise is here from France to teach us how to WOAD!  Kick (Kari's mom)
is sitting next to her detangling my dyed thread.

Here I am with Kari Meng, owner of French General
