I just spent the whole morning listing on Etsy. It was hard work! I love what I have on there now. My plan is to list 25 vintage pieces a week. My goal is to be a source for mixed media artists and crafters.

Yesterday's Best Glittered Greeting Cards
I'm so excited to represent Yesterday's Best, a wonderful greeting card line of vintage designs! I can't wait to show them to my stores! And though it's hard to see in these photos, the cards have glitter. There are cards for most every occasion.

MERCURY GLASS
Mercury Glass, also called silvered glass, was first made in the 1850's in Bohemia. It was also called the "poor man's silver" and made to resemble "real" silver. Actually mercury glass can be considered the first true art glass. It's glittering beauty makes it a real collectible.
I'm now excited to represent, Golden Hills Studio, which is reproducing some beautiful mercury glass pieces. Here are just a few.

A Joyful Heart
I was recently given the opportunity to submit a Make It article for Romantic Homes and the editors at the magazine approved it and gave me a byline! I have been subscribing to RH since its inception so this was a real honor for me.
Meryl, one of the editors of RH, and me showing off the February issue.
I visited the Romantic Homes offices for a photo shoot and to pick up a magazine! What a wonderful way to spend the morning.

My Favorite Vintage Things....
The other thing I love is embroidery and toile. I combined the two by embroidering this old pattern and bordering it with red toile fabric.
I found this mirror at a flea market. I'm still debating whether to paint it or not.

The Vintage Marketplace in December
The Vintage Marketplace in Rainbow is one of the best places to find something you love. There are so many talented artists and beautiful booths the hardest part is deciding what treasure you will take home.
Above is the pink area, the table is topped with a tree filled with vintage ornaments.
Just a few of Jenelle Van de Mortel's beautiful handpainted vintage ornaments.
